In computer graphics, particles are small, little objects flying around. Particles are used to simulate steam, debris, fire, muzzeflash, star’s, clouds, you name it. Traditionally, a game engine can handle about 10000 of them, but taking advantage of GPU mass parralelisation, I’ve developed a GPU Particle system, capable of handling millions of particles in real time!
TC Particles is a proffesional tool built for the unity 3D engine to take advantage of GPU particles. The payoff is a much deeper integration with other visual systems, giving the artist a lot more control over the appearance. The power of this tool has already been shown, when in collbration with RUST ltd the Museum of the Microstar demo was built.
